About this project
Run by an independent EU buyer who got tired of guessing whether liquidation lots were worth bidding on. The site has no commercial relationship with Jobalots — no affiliate links, no sponsored placement, no advance access to lots. We display public customer feedback in a format that's faster to scan than scrolling page after page on the original site.
Where the data comes from
Every review on this site is already publicly available on jobalots.com — we have no private feed, no exclusive access, no insider information. What we do is collect the public reviews, mask reviewer usernames, and present them as a single sortable dataset with summaries, so you can scan customer feedback in seconds instead of clicking through hundreds of pages.
Sources & scope
- Publicly visible EU-facing customer reviews/comments related to Jobalots purchases.
- Only the EU dataset is included on this site.
- Reviews already removed by Jobalots upstream (deletions, takedowns) remain in our historical CSV — we do not reflect upstream deletions backwards.
What you see for each review
Each row shows the date the review was posted, a masked version of the reviewer's name (the last three characters are always hidden — so "Madzia11" appears as "Madzi***"), a star rating from 0 to 5 in half-star steps, and the customer's full comment in the language they wrote it.
What we do to the data
The clean-up before publishing is light and obvious: extra spaces are trimmed, dates are written in a consistent YYYY-MM-DD format, leftover "…See more/less" tags are removed, and any personal information left in comment text is redacted (see Privacy below). We don't translate, summarize, paraphrase or edit anything else — what you read is what the customer wrote.
Privacy
- Username masking. Reviewer names have their last 3 characters replaced with
***(names of 3 or fewer characters are masked entirely). The unmasked original is never stored or published. - PII redaction in comments. Phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses (multi-language), IBANs and credit-card numbers found inside comment text are auto-replaced with
[redacted phone],[redacted email],[redacted address],[redacted iban]and[redacted card]before publication. Both new and historical reviews are covered. - Takedown requests. If you are the reviewer and want a row removed entirely, email [email protected] with the date and approximate text; we'll remove it within a few business days.
Updates
- The dataset is refreshed regularly so the table reflects current customer feedback.
- Aggregate statistics — average score, star distribution, common feedback themes — are recomputed each refresh.
- Newest reviews appear at the top.
Community reviews
Since September 2026 readers can add their own item reviews through the "Add your review" form. These are kept strictly apart from the Jobalots dataset: they live in a separate database, appear only in the "Community reviews" section, and never contribute to the headline score, the star distribution, or the structured data search engines read. What we do to keep them honest:
- Email confirmation. A review is stored as pending and is not visible to anyone until the submitter clicks a link we email them. Unconfirmed submissions are deleted after 48 hours.
- Substance required. A review must describe the purchase in at least 40 characters and say how the items arrived and how support handled any problem. A bare star rating is exactly what we refuse to count — see the auto-feedback note above.
- Rate limits. A handful of submissions per connection per hour, up to three reviews per email address per month, and one review per item per person.
- Moderation. Every published review is checked by the site owner, who removes anything that is not a genuine purchase experience, is abusive, or names people. Removal is immediate.
- Photos. A reviewer can attach up to three photos of what arrived. Unlike the text, photos are not shown on confirmation: each one is screened automatically and then held until the site owner has looked at it and approved it. We decline photos that show people, readable personal data or anything unrelated to the purchase, and we may decline any photo without giving a reason. Location data and other camera metadata are stripped before storage. By uploading you confirm you took the photo yourself. To have a photo taken down, email [email protected].
- Privacy. Your email is used only to send the confirmation link and is deleted from our records the moment you click it; we keep a salted hash to enforce the limits above. Names are masked the same way as the main dataset. Order numbers, phone numbers, addresses and emails inside review text are redacted automatically.
Limitations
- We cannot verify the factual accuracy of customer claims; treat individual scores and comments as self-reported.
- Language detection and translation are not automated; original text is preserved verbatim.
- Sentiment chips on the home page are derived from simple multilingual keyword matching, not natural-language processing — they are a rough guide, not a definitive sentiment score.
- Manifest-accuracy commentary on review pages reflects buyer experience, not lot-by-lot verification.
